Bridge over Sucker Brook in Andover for Sale
NHDOT seeking proposals for the adaptive reuse of the Route 11 bridge over the Sucker Brook.
The NH Department of Transportation (NHDOT) is accepting proposals for the purchase, relocation and preservation of the historic Sucker Brook Bridge (No. 208/137), that carries NH Route 11 over Sucker Brook in the Town of Andover, NH.
To be considered, proposals must be submitted electronically to Bureau16@dot.nh.gov. The subject line must read: “PROPOSAL FOR THE ADAPTIVE REUSE OF THE SUCKER BROOK BRIDGE,” and be received by 12:00 pm on Friday, October 18, 2024.
Constructed in 1929, the bridge carrying NH Route 11 over Sucker Brook is a concrete, closed-spandrel arch bridge. The bridge is under 11 feet of fill and has a 28-foot long opening. The bridge has concrete abutments and flared wingwalls.
