Traffic Pattern Change along US Route 4 Segment in Northwood

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT), in consultation with and support from the Town of Northwood, will change the existing westbound passing lane to the west of the US Route 4 and NH Route 152 intersection, to a two-way left turn lane, starting at 9 am on Monday, September 30, 2024.

Weather permitting, NHDOT crews will add new line striping, edge lines and stencil markings. The work will require short duration mobile lane closures between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm each day and will be completed by Friday, October 4, 2024.   

Portable message boards will notify road users of the imminent change in the traffic pattern.  The message boards will remain in-place for approximately two-weeks after the change to emphasize the new traffic pattern.
