Daytime lane shifts will be utilized for construction operations.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces road work will resume on Monday, April 11, 2022 as part of NH 101 resurfacing work in Milford and Amherst. Weather permitting, daytime shoulder closures will be utilized to accommodate curbing, concrete, and catch basin work in preparation for future nighttime paving. Work areas include NH 101 from Elm Street in Milford to Blueberry Hill Road in Amherst, including all on and off ramps at NH 13, NH 101A, and NH 122. This work is anticipated to continue through the month of May.

Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public of any traffic pattern changes. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $6.2 million resurfacing on NH 101 in Milford and Amherst, with a completion date of September 9, 2022.  The general contractor is Pike Industries of Belmont, NH.
