EV Charging Infrastructure
The NHDOT has been tasked with developing a plan to place charging stations at strategic locations throughout NH. This program is being developed and information and related documents will posted below.
What's Happening?

February 28, 2024 - Four projects were selected to expand access and charging reliability in New Hampshire. The conditional awards, and the associated locations for the chargers, will go to:
Revision Energy, White Mountain Visitor Center, North Woodstock
Gridwealth EV, 75 Laconia Road, Tilton
Gridwealth EV, 127 Market Place Blvd, Rochester

- November 7, 2023- NEVI Phase 1 RFP: Pre-bid Questions and Responses.
- October 23, 2023- An informational Webinar detailing the Phase 1 of the RFP was held.
- October 13, 2023 - The Phase 1 RFP is available.
- October 6, 2023 - The updated NH NEVI Plan was approved on 9/29/2023.
- September 11, 2023 - An Informational Webinar detailing the RFP process was held.

- August 2, 2022 - The NHDOT submitted the NEVI Charging Deployment Plan for NH.
- May 23, 2022 - The NHDOT shared the presentation from the Public Hearing on May 20, 2022.
- May 4, 2022 - The NH Transportation Council held a Public Hearing on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 9 am, at the Department of Transportation, 7 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH.
- April 22, 2022 - The NHDOT shared a powerpoint presentation with the NH Transportation Council.

On May 30, 2018, New Hampshire Senate Bill 517 (SB 517) was passed establishing the Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Infrastructure Commission to make recommendations on various policies, programs and initiatives related to the use and support of zero emission vehicles in New Hampshire. The first meeting was held on August 24, 2018, and the Commission met regularly through October 30, 2020.
