Step 1: Click “Register” to create an account

Step 2: Complete your Talent Profile

  • Complete the Education and Employment History sections
  • Add at least two References
  • (Complete the Credentials section with your CDL, FE/PE licensure, etc. if applicable)

Step 3: Navigate back to the Candidate Space home page

  • Select “Transportation Dept” in the Agency Name box
  • Click “Search Jobs”
  • Click an opportunity to view details

Step 4: When you find an opportunity that you are interested in, click “Apply”

  • Upload your most up-to-date resume and a cover letter (both optional)
  • Complete the screening questions
  • Review your Talent Profile for accuracy
  • Submit your application

Step 5: You will be contacted via email with one of the following outcomes:

  • More information is needed
  • You do not meet the Minimum Qualifications
  • The Hiring Manager has decided not to move forward with your application
  • The Hiring Manager is interested in setting up an interview
