Lane Closure on I-93 in Derry/Londonderry

The right lane between Exit 4 and Exit 5 will be closed for 30 days.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that the right most travel lane of Interstate 93 Northbound in Londonderry will be closed to travel starting on Monday, May 20, 2024. This operation is required to construct the new Exit 4A interchange on I-93.

The lane closure will start at mile marker 12.4 and continue to mile marker 13.6.  The closure will help facilitate the construction of the new Exit 4A on and off ramps.  The setup work will take place during daytime work hours and the closure will remain in place until mid-June. Although the ramps will be substantially completed this year they will not be opened for use until the entire project is completed.

Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs. Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/

This ongoing project is part of the larger $45 million I-93 Exit 4A Interchange construction initiative situated between Exits 4 and 5. Weaver Brothers Construction Company, headquartered in Bow, NH, serves as the general contractor for Project 13065A. Details for the full project are available on the i93exit4a.com website.
