Nighttime Road Work on the I-293/F.E. Everett Turnpike
Southbound Travel will be Reduced to One Lane in Bedford
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that nighttime road work will begin on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, on the I-293/ F. E. Everett Turnpike southbound in Bedford, NH.
Weather permitting; construction operations will require southbound traffic to be reduced to one lane utilizing lane closures from mile marker 4 to 4.9. This work is expected to be completed over two weeks, and will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 8:00pm to 5:00am. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all message boards and posted signs.
This work is part of the $8 million Central Turnpike Resurfacing Program. The general contractor is Continental Paving, Inc. from Londonderry, NH.
