The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin paving work on a section Route 116 in Whitefield from the Route 3 intersection, southerly for approximately 2.9 miles, on Monday, June 6, 2022.

Weather permitting, construction crews will begin cold planing work during the day, on Monday, June 6, and Tuesday, June 7, 2022.  One lane will be closed and motorists will utilize one lane of alternating traffic as directed by traffic control flaggers.  Paving is tentatively scheduled for Monday, June 13, and Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

There will be a period of time where all traffic will travel on a milled surface, and motorists, especially motorcycles, are urged to use caution through this work zone.
