Road Closure in Rollinsford

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will close a section of Rollins Road in Rollinsford to allow New Hampshire Northcoast Railroad to make emergency repairs on a railroad crossing on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

The New Hampshire Northcoast Railroad will replace of a damaged section of rail line on the crossing on Rollins Road near Sommersworth Road.  Work will start at 8:30 am and should be completed in one day. 

Electronic message board signs on either ends of the Rollins Road will alert commuting motorists to utilize Green Street, Stackpole Road, High Street, or Indigo Hill Road during this time. Detour signs around this intersection will also be used to assist local motorists with navigating around this workzone.
