NHDOT will discuss the purpose, need and goals for improving a section of Route 3 in Bedford.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will hold a Public Informational Meeting to discuss the improvement alternatives for the US Route 3 (South River Road) corridor, starting at the Raymond Wieczorek Drive (Airport Access Road) running northerly 1.7 miles to Hawthorne Drive (northern intersection) in Bedford.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at the Bedford High School Auditorium located at 47 Nashua Road in Bedford. Doors will open at 5:30 pm and the presentation will start promptly at 6:00 pm. Presentation materials will be posted to the NHDOT website prior to the meeting at: https://www.dot.nh.gov/projects-plans-and-programs/project-center/bedford-40664.

This meeting will present the public with information regarding the design process which the Department will be taking for the development of proposed alternatives to improve mobility and safety along the corridor. The meeting will also solicit public input to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. To foster this public input, there will be an opportunity to interact with and provide your input to the project team prior to, and subsequent to, the formal presentation.
