The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that an in-depth inspection will be performed on the bridge carrying NH Route 11 over the Connecticut River in Charlestown, NH beginning on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

Weather permitting, the inspection is expected to take three days, Tuesday, July 19, 2022 through Thursday, July 21, 2022.

The bridge will be reduced to one lane of alternating two-way traffic as needed and as weather permits from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. Lane width on the bridge will be 10’-0” during the inspection. Flag persons, and warning signs will be used to notify motorists of the lane closure. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes if possible to avoid delays.
