Concrete Bridge Deck Placement on the new I-89 Bridge in Lebanon
The work will require lane closures that will impact motorists from 4:30 am to 3:00 pm on Wednesday July 12, 2023.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will close the left lanes on I-89, both northbound and southbound, over the Connecticut river starting at 4:30 am Wednesday morning, July 12, 2023, to place concrete on the median bridge deck that is under construction. Construction is anticipated to last until 3:00 pm and motorists may experience delays between Exit 19 northbound to the Vermont state line and at the I-91 to I-89 southbound interchange in Vermont to Exit 20 in New Hampshire.
Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs. Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.

R.S. Audley of Bow, NH is the prime contractor for this $43 million dollar project which is scheduled to be completed in September 2025.
