Lebanon 40794 Finding of Necessity Meeting

The Commission of Three appointed by the Governor and Executive Council on April 12, 2023, for the project noted above will meet at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the N.H. Department of Transportation, Room 161, 7 Hazen Drive in Concord, NH, to discuss the proposed project.

This meeting is a public proceeding under RSA Chapter 91-A. The intent of the meeting is not to take testimony, but rather, serve as a decision-making forum for the Commission. The public may observe the proceedings.

About the Project

The intent of the project is to improve safety, increase capacity and address operational deficiencies at the Mascoma Street/High Street/Mechanic Street intersection. The project involves the construction of a roundabout to replace the dangerous and confusing four-leg intersection. Work includes roadway widening, curbing, small retaining walls, drainage, lighting, utility relocation, and landscaping. The project will provide accommodations to maintain the Mascoma River Greenway that crosses through the intersection.
