Night Work Continues on NH Route 101 in Milford and Amherst

Nighttime alternating one-way traffic and ramp closures needed for paving operations.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that road work will continue on the night of Wednesday, July 6, 2022 as part of NH Route 101 resurfacing work in Milford and Amherst.  Weather permitting, nighttime alternating one-way traffic will be utilized between the hours of 8:00 pm and 5:00 am to accommodate paving operations on NH Route 101 from Blueberry Hill Road in Amherst to Old Wilton Road in Milford. This work is anticipated to continue through the month of August.

Ramp closures at the NH Route 13, NH Route 101A, NH Route 122, and Boston Post Road interchanges will also be utilized at various times during the paving operations, and detours will be implemented as needed to guide motorists around these closures.

Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public of any traffic pattern changes. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $6.2 million resurfacing on NH Route 101 in Milford and Amherst, with a completion date of September 9, 2022.  The general contractor is Pike Industries of Belmont, NH.
