Nighttime Bridge Work on Interstate 95 in Greenland
Temporary lane closures on I-95 will be required at night for the next eleven weeks.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that maintenance work has begun on the Breakfast Hill Road overpass on I-95 in Greenland.
Much of the work will take place at night between the hours of 7:00 pm to 5:00 am using rapid deployment equipment working within temporary lane closure work zones on the roadway underneath the bridge to complete blast cleaning, painting and environmental protection complying with lead-bearing paint removal regulations.
It is anticipated that work will progress this year until the completion date of November 3, 2023. Motorists are advised to slow down through the work zone and anticipate workers and equipment near the travel lanes. Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.
Monoko, LLC of Tarpon Springs, FL is the prime contractor for the $1,131,819.00 contract.
