Nighttime Culvert Work on Route 25 in Meredith

The work will require closing a section of Route 25 each night for one week.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin nighttime work to replace two drainage pipes on NH Route 25 in Meredith starting Sunday night, July 21, 2024. The two pipes are located just east of Barnard Ridge Road and just west of Leavitt Park Road. Construction will be performed on one location at a time.

While crews are working in the roadway, from 7 pm to 5 am each night, all eastbound and westbound road users on NH Route 25 will be detoured to NH Route 25B. Local travelers will be allowed to continue through the road closure to get to their destinations before arriving at the pipe crossing location being worked on. Two-way traffic will be restored on NH Route 25 for normal daytime travel each morning.

Detour signs will direct traffic around the work zone which is expected to take up to one week.

Road users are encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.
