Nighttime Lane Closures in Merrimack

Traffic will be impacted on the FE Everett Turnpike Southbound.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that nighttime roadwork on the FE Everett Turnpike Southbound will take place on Monday June 17, 2024, between Exits 12 and 13 in Merrimack. Traffic will be reduced to one lane between 7:00 pm and 6:30 am. This work will shift southbound traffic to allow access for the reconstruction of the highway median roadway and drainage systems. Traffic will remain in this configuration until the fall of 2024.

This work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 7:00 pm and 6:30 am and will require the use of lane closures and rolling roadblocks. Slower traffic will be encountered through the work area.

Motorist should remain alert while traveling through the work zone and obey all posted signs. Message boards, uniformed officers, traffic control devices, and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the travelling public. This work is part of the $22 million lane widening and reconstruction project being constructed by R.S. Audley, from Bow, NH.
