Nighttime Lane Closures in Nashua and Merrimack

Traffic will be impacted on the F.E. Evertt Turnpike on Northbound and Southbound

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that night work on F.E. Evertt Turnpike (FEET) on Northbound and Southbound will begin between Exit 8 and Exit 10 in the towns of Nashua and Merrimack. This work will consist of milling and paving the shoulders, guardrail work, striping, and shoulder leveling. 
 
Weather dependent this work will take place overnight on Monday, June 24, 2024, through Thursday, June 27, 2024, and Sunday, June 30, 2024, through Tuesday, July 2, 2024. 
  
This work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 6:30 pm and 6:30 am and will require the use of lane closures. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the work zone and obey all posted signs. Message boards, uniformed officers, traffic control devices, and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public. This work is part of the F.E. Evertt widening Project. It includes widening the FEET from 2 to 3 lanes, replacement of the bridges over the Pennichuck brook, constructing permanent ITS devices, median barrier improvements, and modifications at Exit 10 associated with the toll plaza removal.  RS Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $33 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2028.
