Nighttime Paving at Exit 19 on I-89 in Lebanon
The work will require temporary lane and on- and off-ramp closures on I-89
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will continue nighttime milling and paving on I-89 northbound and southbound at Exit 19 for the remainder of the week of May 27, 2024, and continue into the week of June 3, 2024.
The work will require temporary closures of both the northbound and southbound on and off-ramps during the overnight hours. Traffic will be detoured to either Exit 19 or Exit 20 to reverse directions while the ramps are closed. The ramps will be reopened to motorists as quickly as possible.
The tentative dates for the ramp closures are as follows:
- Exit 19 Northbound on and off-ramp, Wednesday, May 29th - 7:30 pm to 6:00 am
- Exit 19 Southbound on and off-ramp, Friday, May 31st - 7:30 pm to 12:00 am
- Exit 19 Northbound on and off-ramp, Friday, May 31st - 12:00 am to 6:00 am
- Exit 19 Southbound on and off-ramp, Sunday, June 2nd- 7:30 pm to 12:00 am
- Exit 19 Northbound on and off-ramp, Sunday, June 2nd - 12:00 am to 6:00 am
- Exit 19 Northbound on and off-ramp, Monday, June 3rd - 7:30 pm to 6:00 am
The work schedule is weather dependent, and the schedule may need to be adjusted as needed.

E.D. Swett of Concord, NH is the prime contractor for this $9,764,986 million project which is scheduled to be completed in June 2024.
