Nighttime Paving in Milford
Paving NH 101 in Milford from NH 101A ramps to Phelan Road.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces night work on Route 101 in Milford from the Route 101A ramps to Phelan Road. This work will consist of paving and installing temporary pavement markings along this 5-mile stretch of Route 101.
Weather dependent, nightly paving will take place over four nights beginning on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, continuing through Saturday morning, June 29, 2024.
This work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 6:30 pm and 6:00 am and will require the use of one-way alternating traffic on NH 101, as well as short-term detours at the Route 13 ramps.
Message boards are being used to notify road users. During the above-referenced work hours, uniformed officers, flaggers, and traffic control devices will guide traffic through the project site, and motorists should expect delays.
Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.
This work is part of the repurposing of Route 101 to establish a 6-foot median buffer zone. Continental Paving, Inc. of Londonderry, NH is the general contractor for the $4.5 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2024.
