Nighttime Paving Work on the Everett Turnpike in Bedford
The work will require temporary lane and ramp closures starting at 7 pm on Friday, November 4, 2022.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will perform nighttime paving work on Everett Turnpike, starting at 7 pm on Friday, November 4, 2022, northbound from the Bedford Tolls to the I-293 interchange. This work will involve milling and paving the northbound travel lanes.
This work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 7:00 pm and 6:00 am and will require the closure of the Everett Turnpike northbound off-ramp to I-293 southbound, the Route 101 eastbound to Everett Turnpike northbound on-ramp, and the Everett Turnpike northbound off-ramp to Route 101 westbound.
Message boards, uniformed officers, traffic control devices, and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public. Motorists will follow posted detour signs to gain access to I-293/Route 101. This work is expected to take one night to complete. Weather conditions may delay the work.
This work is part of the F.E. Everett Turnpike (FEET) 13761 Widening Project. This 13761D project includes the 1.7-mile northern segment work in Bedford beginning north of Exit 13 and proceeding north, and through the I-293 interchange. AJ Coleman & Son of Conway, NH is the general contractor for the $20.5 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2024.
