Nighttime Road Work on Cottage Street in Littleton

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin nighttime paving work on Cottage Street in Littleton starting on Sunday evening, June 16, 2024 at 7 pm. 
 
The work schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and will require temporary lane closures for five nights.
 
The work will consist of milling and paving up Cottage Street from Littleton Main Street to US 302, turning onto US 302 east to the I-93 Exit 40 southbound on ramp.  Road users will utilize one lane of alternating traffic during the work hours.  
 
Message boards, uniformed officers, and traffic control personnel will direct road users through the work zone.  Motorists are encouraged to sign up for free, real-time traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/  
  
This work is part of the Statewide Tier 2 Resurfacing (NW), NHDOT Project 43053.  J Hutchins Inc of Richmond, VT is the general contractor for this $4.9 million project.
