Nighttime Road Work on Route 125 in Plaistow
The work will require temporary lane closures for the next six weeks.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin nighttime road work on a section of Route 125 in Plaistow on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at approximately 9 pm.
Weather permitting crews will work Sunday night through Friday mornings, from approximately 9 pm to 5 am, for the next six weeks ending on approximately Friday, May 26, 2023. This work will require temporary lane closures. One lane of traffic will be maintained on northbound and southbound barrels during construction operations.
Message boards and traffic control devices will be used to notify the traveling public. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.
This work is part of the $3.6 million pavement resurfacing project on two sections of Route 125 in Lee, Barrington, and Plaistow. The estimated completion date is September 29, 2023, and the general contractor is Brox Industries of Dracut, MA.
