Road Work on I-89 and I-93 in Bow

Temporary shoulder closures will be required throughout the summer.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that construction activities will begin on Monday, May 9, 2022, in the Town of Bow. The work will include rehabilitation of two corrugated metal culverts under I-89 located approximately 840 feet west of I-93, and approximately 225 feet west of I-93.

Shoulder closures on the I-93 southbound off ramp to I-89 northbound, and shoulder closures on I-89 northbound, will be required to facilitate the work.

Weather permitting, this work will consist of intermittent shoulder closures on I-89 northbound to Exit 1, and I-93 off ramp onto I-89 northbound to allow the rehabilitation of the drainage culverts under I-89 northbound. No night work is anticipated.

Message boards and smart work zone devices will be utilized to notify the traveling public of any traffic pattern changes. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs. This work is weather dependent and may require rescheduling.
