Road Work on Route 101 in Milford and Amherst

Nighttime alternating one-way traffic will be utilized for paving operations.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces road work will begin the night of Sunday, May 8, 2022 as part of NH 101 resurfacing work in Milford.

Weather permitting, nighttime alternating one-way traffic will be utilized between the hours of 8 pm and 6 am to accommodate paving operations on NH 101 from Blueberry Hill Road in Amherst to Old Wilton Road in Milford. This work is anticipated to continue through the month of May.

Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public of any traffic pattern changes. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.  

This work is part of the $6.2 million resurfacing on NH 101 in Milford and Amherst, with a completion date of September 9, 2022.  The general contractor is Pike Industries, Inc. of Belmont, NH.
