Suncook River Bridge Work to Begin

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will close the northbound lane and begin construction work to rehabilitate the Suncook River Bridge on Route 28 in Suncook. This project will replace the bridge superstructure, and rehabilitate the bridge substructure. 
  
Starting Tuesday, March 21, 2023, the northbound lane will be closed to facilitate the construction of the southbound portion of the bridge. Motorists will experience minor delays as they travel through the construction zone which will utilize a signalized, alternating one lane traffic configuration. Traffic will be restored to two lanes in the Fall of 2023. 

This work is part of a $3.2 million bridge replacement project. The general contractor is Evroks Corporation of Northfield, NH.
