Temporary Daytime Closure of Route 25A in Wentworth

Road users will be detoured, during the day, for three to four days.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) is replacing a 36-inch diameter culvert and will fully close Route 25A in Wentworth, during the day, for at least three days.

Beginning on Monday, July 29, 2024, the highway will be fully closed to traffic for the construction of a replacement 36-inch concrete box culvert. The work site is located approximately 1.7 miles west of Route 25. A detour will be in place from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. A signed detour will direct road users around the closure using Route 25C.

Message boards and traffic control devices will be used to direct and inform local traffic. Road users are encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.
