Temporary Ramp Closures at Exit 19 Northbound on I-89 in Lebanon
The work will require closing the I-89 northbound on and off-ramp for two days.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) in conjunction with the City of Lebanon will temporarily close the I-89 Exit 19 northbound on and off-ramp starting Monday, July 17, 2023, at 5:00 am to allow for water line installation on westbound lane of US Route 4 and final humus installation behind the granite curb installed in 2022.
Construction is anticipated to last two days while the work is completed. The work schedule is weather dependent and the start date could be delayed. A detour utilizing message boards and temporary construction signs will be put in place directing off-ramp traffic to use I-89 northbound Exit 20 to reverse directions to I-89 southbound where they can use the Exit 19 southbound off-ramp. On-ramp traffic will be directed to use I-89 southbound Exit 19 on-ramp to I-89 southbound Exit 18 to reverse directions to I-89 northbound.
Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs. Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.
NHDOT programs and services are administered by the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all applicable regulations to ensure nondiscrimination.
