***Updated*** Public Hearing for Londonderry Project 41715
To discuss the proposed plan for improvements to the Route 28 and Stonehenge Road intersection.
The Commission established under NH RSA 230:14 and Public Law 100-17 (Surface Transportation and Uniform Relocation Assistance Act of 1987), has scheduled a public hearing to discuss the proposal to make improvements to NH Route 28 and Stonehenge Road intersection operations, address safety, and reduce traveling speed. The project will reconstruct the intersection with a roundabout improving the existing pavement, grading, and drainage conditions. This project may impact historical properties.

The venue will be open at 5:30 pm for the inspection of plans by any interested persons.
On January 6, 2023, the Governor and Executive Council approved the petition of the NH Department of Transportation to convene a public hearing to determine whether there is an occasion for the laying out of this project and acquiring necessary rights-of-way. A Commission of Three Persons was appointed to conduct the hearing and its members are Tom DeBlois, Ray Chadwick, and Terence Pfaff.
This Notice of Public Hearing contains the date, time, and location of the hearing for the petitioners, the owners of land over which the road may pass, and all others interested. No less than fourteen days before the hearing, this notice will be posted in the Town of Londonderry and a copy will be left with the Town Clerk of Londonderry. Interested landowners, local officials, and highway users are invited to attend the hearing and will have the opportunity to express their comments relative to the project. Audio of the hearing will be recorded.
Maps, plans, environmental studies, and other pertinent information developed for the Department, along with written reports received because of the coordination with other agencies, are available at the Department of Transportation at the John O. Morton Building, 7 Hazen Drive, Concord, New Hampshire for inspection and copying. Please call Jason Ayotte, Project Manager, at (603) 271-3921 in advance for an appointment.
Written statements and other exhibits may be submitted to the Chairman of the Commission, c/o William Oldenburg, Director of Project Development, NH Department of Transportation, PO Box 483, Concord, NH 03302 0483 up to the date of the hearing for inclusion in the official record.
