Warner Public Hearing Notice

To discuss improvements to the intersection of Route 127 and Dustin Road.

Under NH RSA 230:14 and Public Law 100-17 (Surface Transportation and Uniform Relocation Assistance Act of 1987), a public hearing has been set to discuss the proposal to replace the existing Red List bridge carrying NH Route 127 over the Warner River. The project includes improvements to the intersection of NH Route 127 and Dustin Road located just north of the bridge and ancillary roadway work. This project may impact historical properties.

The hearing will be held at Warner Town Hall, 5 East Main Street, in Warner on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 6 pm.

The venue will be open at 5:30 pm for the inspection of plans by any interested persons.

On March 8, 2023, the Governor and Executive Council approved the petition of the NH Department of Transportation to convene a public hearing to determine whether there is an occasion for the laying out of this project and acquiring necessary rights-of-way. A Commission of Three Persons was appointed to conduct the hearing and its members are Joel McCarty, Tom DeBlois, and Tim Allen.

This Notice of Public Hearing contains the date, time, and location of the hearing for the petitioners, the owners of land over which the road may pass, and all others interested.  No less than fourteen days before the hearing, this notice will be posted in the Town of Warner and a copy will be left with the Town Clerk of Warner.  Interested landowners, local officials, and highway users are invited to attend the hearing and will have the opportunity to express their comments relative to the project.  Audio of the hearing will be recorded.

Maps, plans, environmental studies, and other pertinent information developed for the Department, along with written reports received because of the coordination with other agencies, are available at the Department of Transportation at the John O. Morton Building, 7 Hazen Drive, Concord, New Hampshire for inspection and copying.  Please call Jennifer Reczek, Project Manager, at (603) 271-3401 in advance for an appointment.

Written statements and other exhibits may be submitted to the Chairman of the Commission, c/o William Oldenburg, Assistant Director of Project Development, NH Department of Transportation, PO Box 483, Concord, NH 03302 0483 up to the date of the hearing for inclusion in the official record.
