The NHDOT is responsible for several permits related to state road use and construction. Below are links to the applications and additional information.

A permit is necessary for the excavation or disturbance of the shoulder, ditch, embankment, or pavement of a state maintained highway. A permit is also needed for any work within a Limited Access Divided Highway right of way. Formerly known as Excavation Permits
