Purpose, Eligible Projects and Airports of NH AIM Program
The public-use airports in New Hampshire provide the state's citizens and visitors with an economic and reliable method of transporting goods and people within the state as well as throughout the nation and the world.
The New Hampshire Airport Improvement and Maintenance Program supports the state's goals of preserving and enhancing the state's aviation system by providing funding assistance to eligible airports for airport projects that focus on state objectives of airport safety, airspace access, economic development, and airport capacity.
Eligible Airports
All public-use airports in New Hampshire regardless of ownership may apply for NH Airport Improvement and Maintenance Program grants.
Other eligible project costs may include, but are not limited to: professional services, project bid advertisements, related legal services, documented supplies, and permitting application fees so long as they are reasonable, justified, and appropriate. Other projects or their components not already listed may be evaluated by NHDOT/BOA on a case-by-case basis.
